Good. {He wants Astaldo to feel that way. His husband deserves that attention daily and he is happy to give it. Grabbing the soap, he quickly and gently cleans his lover, dropping kisses on his shoulders.}

I will carry you to bed, don't worry.

I wanted to wash your hair tonight- I will tomorrow. [He promised. It was one of the things he greatly looked forward to which was shared just between the both of them.]

Mmm thank you, love. I fear I'm going to fall asleep on you tonight.

Tomorrow. (He reinforced, washing Astaldo's hair as quickly as he could. Then he rinsed the dark strands with the scented water, smiling at the effect.)

You smell very good. I will be holding you tonight.

You like the new scent I got? [Astaldo had chosen it very carefully, wanting something they both would like since they often bathed together.]

I was worried it would be too flowery for your taste but it smelled like spring.

[castintoflames]

I do. (He purposefully leans back, soaking his hair in the water.) Why would I complain about Spring?

Spring best suits you. (The season is so warm and sweet like his Finno's kisses.)

If there are any scents you want, I can look for them as well. [It was their bath after all. He leaned back against Tambe's chest with a happy sigh, wanting to be close to him.]

I think I'm going to snuggle close to you tonight for certain.

I like... (He sounds awkward as he finishes:) ...lavender? Ammë put it under my pillow when I was having trouble sleeping.

(Tambë rests against Astaldo's back, stroking his fingers over his chest.)

I will find lavender. [He would get some as well to put under their pillow, he wanted his husband to be relaxed as much as possible. Their bed was their special place.]

I want our bed to be the most comfortable place for both of us.

(His ears turn red and he nuzzles the side of Astaldo's neck, kissing the silken skin.)

Do you mind the scent? I don't mind doing without it. You are infinitely more comforting than any herb or flower.

I like the scent of lavender actually. I had been thinking about scenting our pillow and sheets so our bed would smell nice all the time.

[He groaned softly, closing his eyes. His lover always seemed to be able to find the sensitive parts on his neck.]

It's a light enough scent that it won't overwhelm us. (Tambë murmurs, kissing a line up to his lover's ear.) I trust your nose, love.

[He shivered, putting a hand on Tambe's leg.]

Thank you love. It's our special place, our sanctuary. I want it to be perfect.

(He smiles and hugs Astaldo tighter, humming.)

You are perfect. If you are in the bed, it is perfect to me.

I have an amazing husband.

[That he was certain of. No one, not even Tambe, would be able to convince him otherwise.]

(He makes a small sound of confusion, yet his hand moves over Astaldo's abdomen lovingly.)

I was not seeking to be amazing; I was telling the truth.

I know, love. You would never lie to me.

[Astaldo put his hand on Tambe's, rubbing his thumb across his hand idly.]

Only because lying to you is impossible. (He huffs and turns his hand so their fingers are intwined.)

We know and love each other too much to ever lie. [Astaldo couldn't ever do that to Tambe. Not even about the small things even when he felt bad such as about being tired when Tambe came home.]

[castintoflames]

Mm which is why, my Finno, I know you need rest. (He opens the drain and picks Astaldo up smoothly as he stands up. Once outside of the tub, he drives his lover off first, wrapping him in the warm red robe.)

You know me best, Maitimo. [Astaldo wrapped his arms around Tambe's neck, allowing himself to be lifted up. He knew he wouldn't be dropped. Once he was wrapped up, he pulled the robe closer around him.]

I will rest well now.

[castintoflames]

I do. (He flushes in delight, chuckling at Astaldo in the fluffy robe.) I will carry you to bed in a moment.

(Tambë dries off and tugs on his robe before pulling his lover back into his arms.)

[When Tambe pulled him back, Astaldo wrapped his arms around his shoulder and leaned up to kiss him softly.]

I love it when you carry me to bed.

[castintoflames]

(He nuzzles into the kiss and walks to their bed, setting Astaldo down. Then he tugs open the tie of his lover's robe.)

I will keep you warm too.

[consumedbyfire]

[Astaldo felt warm from the bath and he got comfortable on the bed before holding his arms out for his husband.]

I can only sleep with you in the bed. I've tried sleeping while you were working and it isn't the same.

[castintoflames]

Have you really? (He smiles and slips off his robe before joining Astaldo under the covers.) I'm here, Finno. You can even rest on me.
