[Once everything was cleaned up, Astaldo lead the way into the kitchen so he could prepare more food for them.]

I was- I dreamed I was younger and swimming in the river by the palace. You remember the spot- it was secluded and not many of us knew about it which made it a great place to escape.

In my dream I remember I was floating on the water looking up at the sky- it was golden. And I felt so at peace, just floating there- just...free.

(They work seamlessly together and soon Tambë sits down to enjoy some of the dumplings.)

You would strip down to nothing and swim there. (He grins.) I thought you were precious.

We should go swimming.

[Astaldo sat beside him, setting juice out for both of them.]

It was my favorite spot. It was safe and quiet. [No one bothered him or made fun of him there. Even when he was alone, it gave him comfort.]

We should, just the two of us! So I can strip down to nothing again.

(Tambë reaches for the juice and drinks thirstily, sighing.)

It was safe and quiet because I was your guard. (He grins and gently tweaks Astaldo's ear.)

My little cousin didn't need to be waylaid by my brothers playing pranks.

(Chuckling, he nods.) You won't be quite so cute anymore.

Is that why they never found my spot? I thought it was because I was good at being sneaky! [But his heart swelled at the thought that Tambe had been standing guard so he could have a safe space for a bit.

He laughed, blushing as his ear was tweaked.]

And this time you can join me instead of guarding.

You were sneaky, but they had far more numbers than you. (He had distracted them if they came close. His knowledge as older brother had been very useful.)

I... It has to be private, Finno.

I agree. I don't want someone happening on us. [Considering what they often got up to when they were naked together.]

I will find a remote swimming spot for us. I will ask around.

It's not so much us... (He looks away, lips thinning.) I don't want them to see you. And...

I don't want them to see me.

I know. What we share is special between us. [He loved the sight of Tambe but he didn't want anyone to see anything which was just between them.]

And no one gets to see you naked except for me. [He said as he leaned over to kiss him softly.]

(The bond is special - precious - but Tambë has issues with being seen in a vulnerable state. Morgoth can be thanked for that fear.)

I want to ensure the spot is safe beforehand. I will patrol it.

Thank you, love. [He wouldn't protest- he knows it's done out of love and concern most of all to keep them safe.]

(He tugs Astaldo into his arms for a moment, breathing in his scent.)

Would you like me to ready a bath for you?

That would be nice. I have some scented bath oil that I bought as a treat for myself but I think you would like it too. [Of course he assumed that Tambe would be joining him in the bath. He preferred it that way.]

Do you want me to - ? (He arches a copper brow, gently turning Astaldo's face so he can peer into his eyes.) Love, if you wish to bathe alone, I will not hold that against you.

I was hoping you would join me actually. [He looked hopeful, through he wouldn't press it.] I just thought I would warn you about the bath oil I got. It smells of flowers.

(Tambë gets up and kisses the top of Astaldo's head, smiling to himself.)

Flowers do not frighten me. (He walks to the bathroom and turns on the water.)

I prefer taking baths and showers with you when I can. [Astaldo smiled as he followed Tambe to the bathroom, pulling off his clothes in the process.]

(A warm feeling fills his chest and he tugs off his shirt and shorts, setting them aside. He sits on the edge of the tub, testing the water and adding the oil.)

Mm I need to take this off... (He removes the prosthetic - lest it rust - and grimaces at the scarring underneath.)

[Astaldo finished removing his clothes, reaching out to put the prosthetic to put it safely on a towel. He leaned over then to put a hand over the stump, smiling at Tambe.]

I wouldn't change anything about you, you realize that?

(He is shaken from his negative thoughts at the touch. A shy smile curves his lips and he hums, pulling Astaldo closer to press kisses over his face.)

Mm likewise, love. Now get into the water. It should be a nice temperature.

Thank you, love. [He gave Tambe a kiss before stepping into the tub. He relaxed against the edge, letting out a sigh as he looked up at his lover.]

Perfect temperature.

(Tambë slips in behind him and brushes his hair out of the way so he can massage his neck and shoulders.)

Just rest. You can lay against me if you like.

[He groaned softly as Tambe started to rub his neck and shoulders. He slumped back against his husband, eyes closed.]

Your hands feel amazing.

(He kisses the side of Astaldo's head, using the water to help his lover relax more.)

I'm glad. You deserve some pampering.

You pamper me every day. [He tried to stifle a yawn, not wanting Tambe to feel as he was boring which was far from the case. He leaned his cheek down against Tambe's arm, smiling softly.]
