(He tugs Astaldo into his arms for a moment, breathing in his scent.)

Would you like me to ready a bath for you?

That would be nice. I have some scented bath oil that I bought as a treat for myself but I think you would like it too. [Of course he assumed that Tambe would be joining him in the bath. He preferred it that way.]

Do you want me to - ? (He arches a copper brow, gently turning Astaldo's face so he can peer into his eyes.) Love, if you wish to bathe alone, I will not hold that against you.

I was hoping you would join me actually. [He looked hopeful, through he wouldn't press it.] I just thought I would warn you about the bath oil I got. It smells of flowers.

[castintoflames]

(Tambë gets up and kisses the top of Astaldo's head, smiling to himself.)

Flowers do not frighten me. (He walks to the bathroom and turns on the water.)

I prefer taking baths and showers with you when I can. [Astaldo smiled as he followed Tambe to the bathroom, pulling off his clothes in the process.]

(A warm feeling fills his chest and he tugs off his shirt and shorts, setting them aside. He sits on the edge of the tub, testing the water and adding the oil.)

Mm I need to take this off... (He removes the prosthetic - lest it rust - and grimaces at the scarring underneath.)

[Astaldo finished removing his clothes, reaching out to put the prosthetic to put it safely on a towel. He leaned over then to put a hand over the stump, smiling at Tambe.]

I wouldn't change anything about you, you realize that?

[castintoflames]

(He is shaken from his negative thoughts at the touch. A shy smile curves his lips and he hums, pulling Astaldo closer to press kisses over his face.)

Mm likewise, love. Now get into the water. It should be a nice temperature.

Thank you, love. [He gave Tambe a kiss before stepping into the tub. He relaxed against the edge, letting out a sigh as he looked up at his lover.]

Perfect temperature.

(Tambë slips in behind him and brushes his hair out of the way so he can massage his neck and shoulders.)

Just rest. You can lay against me if you like.

[He groaned softly as Tambe started to rub his neck and shoulders. He slumped back against his husband, eyes closed.]

Your hands feel amazing.

[castintoflames]

(He kisses the side of Astaldo's head, using the water to help his lover relax more.)

I'm glad. You deserve some pampering.

You pamper me every day. [He tried to stifle a yawn, not wanting Tambe to feel as he was boring which was far from the case. He leaned his cheek down against Tambe's arm, smiling softly.]

Good. {He wants Astaldo to feel that way. His husband deserves that attention daily and he is happy to give it. Grabbing the soap, he quickly and gently cleans his lover, dropping kisses on his shoulders.}

I will carry you to bed, don't worry.

I wanted to wash your hair tonight- I will tomorrow. [He promised. It was one of the things he greatly looked forward to which was shared just between the both of them.]

Mmm thank you, love. I fear I'm going to fall asleep on you tonight.

[castintoflames]

Tomorrow. (He reinforced, washing Astaldo's hair as quickly as he could. Then he rinsed the dark strands with the scented water, smiling at the effect.)

You smell very good. I will be holding you tonight.

You like the new scent I got? [Astaldo had chosen it very carefully, wanting something they both would like since they often bathed together.]

I was worried it would be too flowery for your taste but it smelled like spring.

[castintoflames]

I do. (He purposefully leans back, soaking his hair in the water.) Why would I complain about Spring?

Spring best suits you. (The season is so warm and sweet like his Finno's kisses.)

If there are any scents you want, I can look for them as well. [It was their bath after all. He leaned back against Tambe's chest with a happy sigh, wanting to be close to him.]

I think I'm going to snuggle close to you tonight for certain.

I like... (He sounds awkward as he finishes:) ...lavender? Ammë put it under my pillow when I was having trouble sleeping.

(Tambë rests against Astaldo's back, stroking his fingers over his chest.)

I will find lavender. [He would get some as well to put under their pillow, he wanted his husband to be relaxed as much as possible. Their bed was their special place.]

I want our bed to be the most comfortable place for both of us.

(His ears turn red and he nuzzles the side of Astaldo's neck, kissing the silken skin.)

Do you mind the scent? I don't mind doing without it. You are infinitely more comforting than any herb or flower.

I like the scent of lavender actually. I had been thinking about scenting our pillow and sheets so our bed would smell nice all the time.

[He groaned softly, closing his eyes. His lover always seemed to be able to find the sensitive parts on his neck.]
