My Maitimo. [He smiled as he pulled him down for a kiss before Tambe pulled away.]

We can come up here when we're on our breaks. I'll bring a comfortable blanket. [He sat up, a few bits of hay in his hair.]

(He melts into the kiss, touching Astaldo's cheek tenderly as they part.)

I can keep it up here. No one need know. (He sets about grabbing his clothes when he sees the hay in his lover's hair.) Astaldo...

(Chuckling, he moves to pick the hay out, expression serene.)

It will be our little secret spot! [Something which delighted him. He laughed when Tambe picked a bit of hay out of his hair before standing.

He watched Tambe get dressed as he found his own clothes, a content smile upon his lips.]

Where only the horses and ponies know what we do. (He teases, eyes sparkling.) They know how to keep secrets and it's not as if I haven't caught them trying to be friendly with their mates.

(Tugging on his clothes, he straightens his appearance before pulling Astaldo into a tight embrace.)

I trust them then! I will bring them some apples though just in case, as a way for making up for disturbing them.

[He finished dressing, picking out as much hay out of his hair that he could though some remained. He leaned against Tambe, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.]

Ah bribery! (He laughs and holds Astaldo for a few moments, smiling in utter contentment.) I hope you have a good day, love.

I hope you do as well. I'll be back early tonight, by the time you get finished here. I'll have dinner waiting for you, along with some tea. [He promised as he leaned up to kiss him softly. Being able to do those little things for his husband made him happy.]

(He smiles at Astaldo's plans, leaning in to deepen the kiss slightly.)

I will show you my gratitude all you like tonight.

(Tambë makes the journey down the ladder first - it is safer that way.)

Come say hello to Carnë before you leave, love.

You will? I cannot wait to see how you do!

[His husband never fails to make him feel special or appreciated.

He made his way down the ladder after Tambe, carefully.]

Of course- I miss him!

(He smiles slyly, slipping his hands around Astaldo's waist to lift him down the rest of the way.)

I will not disappoint you.

(Carnë is poking his head out as far as he can, snorting. He knows those voices!)

[He smiled as he was lifted, trusting Tambe to set him down carefully. As soon as his feet were on the ground, he leaned up to give Tambe a quick kiss on the lips as a thank you.]

Carnë! I thought I heard you over there! [He bounced over to the horse's stall, rubbing his nose affectionately.]

(Tambë lowers him with ease, grinning at the kiss.)

He has missed you. (He follows Astaldo over to the stall, brushing back Carnë's mane so he could see them clearly.

The horse sniffs them, nudging his head against Astaldo's chest for a proper hug. He's just a big softy.)

And I missed him! [Astaldo laughed as he wrapped his arms around Carne's neck. The horse was huge, Astaldo knew he most likely couldn't get on his back without help, but he also knew that Carne was gentle and would not harm him.]

Has Tambe been treating you well? Spoiling you? [he teased with a grin.]

(Carnë whinnies, telling Astaldo about his day and how Tambë treats him most likely. He has become more animated since coming under Tambë's care - even his eyes shine with more mischief.)

Ah, do not fib to him, Carnë. (The horse blows out a huff. How dare he insult him so!)

Oh you must suffer so! I will have to make sure to bring you more apples to make up for it. [Astaldo grinned as he and the horse looked over at Tambe.]

He has been telling me very interesting things, love!

(Oh he does! The abuse is clear! He paws at the floor in his stable, bobbing his head playfully. Tambë beams.)

Let me guess... Has he told you how cruel I am to him? How I never see to his needs first every morning?

He mentioned an appalling lack of apples, love. [Astaldo grinned, rubbing Carne's neck affectionately.]

I am going to have to step in now and bring him apples every day.

Carnë! (He rubs a over the horse's ears, feigning a stern look.) Do not lie to Astaldo. He takes it seriously! You will be covered in apples!

(The horse looks dreamy at the thought.)

How can I say no to that cute face though? [Astaldo protested with a pretend pout.]

Look at him!

He is blessed in that area. (Tambë sighs with mock woe, resting his head against the horse's mane.)

Tell him thank you in advance, Carnë. (The horse moves in for another hug from Astaldo, ears fluttering.)

He really is. But so are any of the animals you care for. [Astaldo said affectionately.

He hugged Carne again with a laugh, kissing the side of his head.]

Are you saying there is a pattern? (Tambë tugs Astaldo into another embrace, kissing his temple.) I will come home to you tonight as quickly as I can manage.

Just a little. [He wrapped his arms around his husband, looking up at him.]

I can't wait. I'll be there to welcome you home.

(Tambë dips his head and captures Astaldo's lips for a lingering kiss.)

I look forward to that. (He lets go reluctantly.) Be safe, love.

I will-have a good rest of your day. [He leaned up to kiss him softly before stepping away. Parting from his husband was always difficult.

He blew him one last kiss before leaving the stable, looking forward to reuniting with him later that night.]
